Subscription Management
Section titled “Subscription Management”Manage your RunnerHub subscription from Dashboard → Billing.
Current Plan
Section titled “Current Plan”View Your Plan
Section titled “View Your Plan”Your current plan is displayed at the top of the Billing page, showing:
- Plan name (Free, Pro, Business, or PAYG)
- Billing cycle (monthly or annual, if applicable)
- Next billing date
- Current usage (minutes or percentage of monthly allotment)
Upgrading Your Plan
Section titled “Upgrading Your Plan”Upgrade to a Paid Plan
Section titled “Upgrade to a Paid Plan”If you’re currently on the Free tier:
- Go to Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Choose a plan:
- Pay-As-You-Go — $0.055/min (no monthly commitment)
- Pro — $149/month (5,000 min included)
- Business — $299/month or $249/month annually (unlimited minutes)
- Click Continue
- Enter payment details (processed by our payment provider)
- Review and confirm
- Upgrade takes effect immediately
Upgrade Between Paid Plans
Section titled “Upgrade Between Paid Plans”If you’re on PAYG and want to upgrade to Pro or Business:
- Go to Billing
- Click Manage Plan
- Choose the new plan
- Confirm the upgrade
- Upgrade takes effect immediately
- Your billing cycle may adjust based on the new plan
Downgrading Your Plan
Section titled “Downgrading Your Plan”Downgrade Timing
Section titled “Downgrade Timing”- Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
- You retain full access to your current plan until the period ends
- Your next bill will be at the lower tier’s rate
Downgrade Process
Section titled “Downgrade Process”- Go to Billing
- Click Manage Plan
- Select the lower tier
- Review what you’re losing (e.g., team creation, higher timeouts)
- Click Downgrade
- Confirm the downgrade
After the current period ends, your plan automatically switches.
Billing Cycle
Section titled “Billing Cycle”Monthly Billing
Section titled “Monthly Billing”- Charged on the same day each month
- For example: if you sign up on the 15th, you’re billed on the 15th of each month
- Pro: $149/month
- Business: $299/month
Annual Billing (Business Plan Only)
Section titled “Annual Billing (Business Plan Only)”- Available for the Business plan only
- Cost: $249/month ($2,988/year)
- Savings: 2 months free compared to monthly billing
- Charged once per year
- Renewal date is 12 months from the original purchase
PAYG Billing
Section titled “PAYG Billing”- Billed monthly based on actual usage
- Invoiced at the end of the month for minutes used
- No fixed monthly cost—you pay only for what you use
Payment Method
Section titled “Payment Method”Add or Update Payment Method
Section titled “Add or Update Payment Method”- Go to Billing
- Click Payment Methods
- Click Add Payment Method or Update
- Enter your card details (processed by our payment provider)
- Save
Accepted Payment Methods
Section titled “Accepted Payment Methods”- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Debit cards
- Other payment methods available through our payment provider
Automatic Billing
Section titled “Automatic Billing”- Your payment method is charged automatically on your billing date
- Failed payments trigger email notifications
- Retry attempts are made before account suspension
Cancellation & Refunds
Section titled “Cancellation & Refunds”Cancel Your Subscription
Section titled “Cancel Your Subscription”To cancel your subscription:
- Go to Billing
- Click Manage Plan
- Select Cancel Subscription
- Choose your reason (optional feedback)
- Confirm cancellation
What Happens After Cancellation
Section titled “What Happens After Cancellation”- Your account reverts to the Free tier
- You immediately lose access to:
- Team creation
- Code signing features
- Higher minute allocations
- Longer build timeouts
- Priority support
- Existing workspaces and apps are preserved
- You can reactivate a paid subscription anytime
Refund Policy
Section titled “Refund Policy”- Monthly billing: No refunds issued for partially used months
- Annual billing: Refunds issued pro-rata for unused months
- PAYG: No refunds—you pay only for minutes used
Restart a Cancelled Subscription
Section titled “Restart a Cancelled Subscription”If you cancelled a subscription and want to reactivate:
- Go to Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan (available because you’re on Free)
- Choose your plan
- Complete payment
- Subscription reactivates immediately
Invoices & Receipts
Section titled “Invoices & Receipts”View Invoices
Section titled “View Invoices”- Go to Billing
- Click Invoices or Billing History
- See all past invoices with dates and amounts
Download Invoice
Section titled “Download Invoice”Click the download icon next to any invoice to get a PDF receipt.
Additional Concurrency
Section titled “Additional Concurrency”If you need more concurrent builds:
Pro Plan
Section titled “Pro Plan”- Includes 2 concurrent builds
- Additional slots available through custom plan (contact support)
Business Plan
Section titled “Business Plan”- Includes 3 concurrent builds
- Add up to 3 additional slots at $79/month each
- Maximum total concurrency: 6 builds
Add Concurrency to Business Plan
Section titled “Add Concurrency to Business Plan”Additional concurrency slots for the Business plan can be configured through your billing settings. Contact support@runnerhub.net if you need help adding concurrency slots to your plan.
Team Billing
Section titled “Team Billing”Who Pays?
Section titled “Who Pays?”- The workspace owner is billed for the subscription
- All team member actions (reruns, new builds) consume minutes from the owner’s plan
- Team members don’t need their own subscription
Free Users on Teams
Section titled “Free Users on Teams”- Free users can be invited to teams owned by paid users
- Their actions are billed to the workspace owner
- They don’t need to upgrade to participate in teams
Downgrading with Active Teams
Section titled “Downgrading with Active Teams”If the workspace owner downgrades to Free:
- All teams become inactive
- Team members lose access to shared workspaces
- Teams are preserved (not deleted)
- When you upgrade back to a paid plan, teams automatically reactivate
Billing Scenarios
Section titled “Billing Scenarios”Scenario 1: Growing Startup
Section titled “Scenario 1: Growing Startup”- Start on Free tier (500 min/month)
- Usage grows to 3,000 min/month → upgrade to Pro ($149/month)
- Team grows to 5 developers → add team members as MEMBERs
- Usage hits 8,000 min/month → upgrade to Business ($299/month)
Scenario 2: Indie Developer
Section titled “Scenario 2: Indie Developer”- Free tier testing (500 min/month)
- Need teams and signing → upgrade to PAYG ($0.055/min)
- Usage averages 2,000 min/month ($110/month) → stays on PAYG
Scenario 3: Large Enterprise
Section titled “Scenario 3: Large Enterprise”- Multiple workspaces (unlimited on Business)
- 15+ team members across multiple workspaces
- Unlimited minutes with Business plan
- 4 concurrent builds ($79/month each × 1 add-on slot)
- Annual billing for $249/month rate = $2,988/year
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Q: Why was I charged unexpectedly? A: Check your plan type. PAYG charges for every minute. Pro charges monthly regardless of usage. Check your invoices for breakdown.
Q: Can I change my billing date? A: Not through the dashboard, but contact our support team. We can adjust your billing date if needed.
Q: What if my payment fails? A: You’ll receive an email with instructions. Update your payment method immediately to avoid service interruption.
Q: Can I switch between monthly and annual billing? A: Yes (Business plan only). Your next billing date changes accordingly. Prorations apply if switching mid-cycle.
Q: Do I need to provide tax information? A: Our payment provider handles tax/VAT collection based on your location during checkout.
Q: Can I get an invoice for accounting purposes? A: Yes, download PDFs from Billing → Invoices.
