Subscriptions

Manage your RunnerHub subscription from DashboardBilling.

Your current plan is displayed at the top of the Billing page, showing:

  • Plan name (Free, Pro, Business, or PAYG)
  • Billing cycle (monthly)
  • Next billing date
  • Current usage (minutes or percentage of monthly allotment)

If you’re currently on the Free tier:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Upgrade on your current plan card
  3. Choose a plan:
    • Pay-As-You-Go — $0.055/min (no monthly commitment)
    • Pro — $149/month (5,000 min included)
    • Business — $299/month (unlimited minutes)
  4. Enter payment details (processed by our payment provider)
  5. Review and confirm
  6. Upgrade takes effect immediately

If you’re on PAYG and want to upgrade to Pro or Business:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Upgrade on a higher-tier plan card
  3. Confirm the upgrade
  4. Upgrade takes effect immediately
  5. Your billing cycle may adjust based on the new plan
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain full access to your current plan until the period ends
  • Your next bill will be at the lower tier’s rate
  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Downgrade on a lower-tier plan card
  3. Review what you’re losing (e.g., team creation, higher timeouts)
  4. Confirm the downgrade

After the current period ends, your plan automatically switches.

  • Charged on the same day each month
  • For example: if you sign up on the 15th, you’re billed on the 15th of each month
  • Pro: $149/month
  • Business: $299/month
  • Billed monthly based on actual usage
  • Invoiced at the end of the month for minutes used
  • No fixed monthly cost—you pay only for what you use

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Downgrade on the Free plan card
  3. Confirm the downgrade
  4. Your subscription cancels at the end of the current billing period
  • Your account reverts to the Free tier
  • You immediately lose access to:
    • Team creation
    • Code signing features
    • Higher minute allocations
    • Longer build timeouts
    • Priority support
  • Existing workspaces and apps are preserved
  • You can reactivate a paid subscription anytime
  • Monthly billing: No refunds issued for partially used months
  • PAYG: No refunds—you pay only for minutes used

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis through support — contact support@runnerhub.net for special circumstances.

If you cancelled a subscription and want to reactivate:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Upgrade Plan (available because you’re on Free)
  3. Choose your plan
  4. Complete payment
  5. Subscription reactivates immediately
  • The workspace owner is billed for the subscription
  • All team member actions (reruns, new builds) consume minutes from the owner’s plan
  • Team members don’t need their own subscription
  • Free users can be invited to teams owned by paid users
  • Their actions are billed to the workspace owner
  • They don’t need to upgrade to participate in teams

When the workspace OWNER downgrades to Free:

  • All teams are automatically deactivated
  • Team members lose access to the workspace until the owner re-upgrades
  • Team data (members, roles, history) is preserved — not deleted
  • Re-upgrading to PAYG or higher reactivates all teams instantly with members intact
  • Pending invitations are not auto-cancelled, but cannot be accepted while teams are inactive
  1. Start on Free tier (500 min/month)
  2. Usage grows to 3,000 min/month → upgrade to Pro ($149/month)
  3. Team grows to 5 developers → add team members as MEMBERs
  4. Usage hits 8,000 min/month → upgrade to Business ($299/month)
  1. Free tier testing (500 min/month)
  2. Need teams and signing → upgrade to PAYG ($0.055/min)
  3. Usage averages 2,000 min/month ($110/month) → stays on PAYG
  1. Multiple workspaces (unlimited on Business)
  2. 15+ team members across multiple workspaces
  3. Unlimited minutes with Business plan
  4. 3 concurrent builds included

Q: Why was I charged unexpectedly? A: Check your plan type. PAYG charges for every minute. Pro charges monthly regardless of usage. Check your invoices for breakdown.

Q: Can I change my billing date? A: Not through the dashboard, but contact our support team. We can adjust your billing date if needed.

Q: What if my payment fails? A: You’ll receive an email with instructions. Update your payment method immediately to avoid service interruption.

Q: Do I need to provide tax information? A: Our payment provider handles tax/VAT collection based on your location during checkout.

Q: Can I get an invoice for accounting purposes? A: Yes, download PDFs from BillingInvoices.
