Subscriptions

Manage your RunnerHub subscription from DashboardBilling.

Your current plan is displayed at the top of the Billing page, showing:

  • Plan name (Free, Pro, Business, or PAYG)
  • Billing cycle (monthly or annual, if applicable)
  • Next billing date
  • Current usage (minutes or percentage of monthly allotment)

If you’re currently on the Free tier:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Upgrade Plan
  3. Choose a plan:
    • Pay-As-You-Go — $0.055/min (no monthly commitment)
    • Pro — $149/month (5,000 min included)
    • Business — $299/month or $249/month annually (unlimited minutes)
  4. Click Continue
  5. Enter payment details (processed by our payment provider)
  6. Review and confirm
  7. Upgrade takes effect immediately

If you’re on PAYG and want to upgrade to Pro or Business:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Manage Plan
  3. Choose the new plan
  4. Confirm the upgrade
  5. Upgrade takes effect immediately
  6. Your billing cycle may adjust based on the new plan
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain full access to your current plan until the period ends
  • Your next bill will be at the lower tier’s rate
  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Manage Plan
  3. Select the lower tier
  4. Review what you’re losing (e.g., team creation, higher timeouts)
  5. Click Downgrade
  6. Confirm the downgrade

After the current period ends, your plan automatically switches.

  • Charged on the same day each month
  • For example: if you sign up on the 15th, you’re billed on the 15th of each month
  • Pro: $149/month
  • Business: $299/month
  • Available for the Business plan only
  • Cost: $249/month ($2,988/year)
  • Savings: 2 months free compared to monthly billing
  • Charged once per year
  • Renewal date is 12 months from the original purchase
  • Billed monthly based on actual usage
  • Invoiced at the end of the month for minutes used
  • No fixed monthly cost—you pay only for what you use
  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Payment Methods
  3. Click Add Payment Method or Update
  4. Enter your card details (processed by our payment provider)
  5. Save
  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Debit cards
  • Other payment methods available through our payment provider
  • Your payment method is charged automatically on your billing date
  • Failed payments trigger email notifications
  • Retry attempts are made before account suspension

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Manage Plan
  3. Select Cancel Subscription
  4. Choose your reason (optional feedback)
  5. Confirm cancellation
  • Your account reverts to the Free tier
  • You immediately lose access to:
    • Team creation
    • Code signing features
    • Higher minute allocations
    • Longer build timeouts
    • Priority support
  • Existing workspaces and apps are preserved
  • You can reactivate a paid subscription anytime
  • Monthly billing: No refunds issued for partially used months
  • Annual billing: Refunds issued pro-rata for unused months
  • PAYG: No refunds—you pay only for minutes used

If you cancelled a subscription and want to reactivate:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Upgrade Plan (available because you’re on Free)
  3. Choose your plan
  4. Complete payment
  5. Subscription reactivates immediately
  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Invoices or Billing History
  3. See all past invoices with dates and amounts

Click the download icon next to any invoice to get a PDF receipt.

If you need more concurrent builds:

  • Includes 2 concurrent builds
  • Additional slots available through custom plan (contact support)
  • Includes 3 concurrent builds
  • Add up to 3 additional slots at $79/month each
  • Maximum total concurrency: 6 builds

Additional concurrency slots for the Business plan can be configured through your billing settings. Contact support@runnerhub.net if you need help adding concurrency slots to your plan.

  • The workspace owner is billed for the subscription
  • All team member actions (reruns, new builds) consume minutes from the owner’s plan
  • Team members don’t need their own subscription
  • Free users can be invited to teams owned by paid users
  • Their actions are billed to the workspace owner
  • They don’t need to upgrade to participate in teams

If the workspace owner downgrades to Free:

  • All teams become inactive
  • Team members lose access to shared workspaces
  • Teams are preserved (not deleted)
  • When you upgrade back to a paid plan, teams automatically reactivate
  1. Start on Free tier (500 min/month)
  2. Usage grows to 3,000 min/month → upgrade to Pro ($149/month)
  3. Team grows to 5 developers → add team members as MEMBERs
  4. Usage hits 8,000 min/month → upgrade to Business ($299/month)
  1. Free tier testing (500 min/month)
  2. Need teams and signing → upgrade to PAYG ($0.055/min)
  3. Usage averages 2,000 min/month ($110/month) → stays on PAYG
  1. Multiple workspaces (unlimited on Business)
  2. 15+ team members across multiple workspaces
  3. Unlimited minutes with Business plan
  4. 4 concurrent builds ($79/month each × 1 add-on slot)
  5. Annual billing for $249/month rate = $2,988/year

Q: Why was I charged unexpectedly? A: Check your plan type. PAYG charges for every minute. Pro charges monthly regardless of usage. Check your invoices for breakdown.

Q: Can I change my billing date? A: Not through the dashboard, but contact our support team. We can adjust your billing date if needed.

Q: What if my payment fails? A: You’ll receive an email with instructions. Update your payment method immediately to avoid service interruption.

Q: Can I switch between monthly and annual billing? A: Yes (Business plan only). Your next billing date changes accordingly. Prorations apply if switching mid-cycle.

Q: Do I need to provide tax information? A: Our payment provider handles tax/VAT collection based on your location during checkout.

Q: Can I get an invoice for accounting purposes? A: Yes, download PDFs from BillingInvoices.
